Get your gathering off to a great start with this low-fat dip. Corn tortilla chips or fresh veggies, such as baby carrots, sugar snap peas, or grape tomatoes would make great dippers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) reduced fat or fat-free plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) reduced-fat mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) chili powder
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped tomato
  • Corn tortilla chips or fresh vegetables

    Mix first 8 ingredients. Top with chopped tomato. Serve with corn tortilla chips or vegetables for dipping.
