This pizza bowl baked with tomatoes and cheese is sure to excite any schoolchild.

Ingredients

  • 2 Old El Paso™ Mini Tortilla Bowls
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) olive oil
  • Pinch each dried oregano and garlic powder
  • 1 small carrot, cut into sticks
  • 1 stalk celery, cut into sticks

Steps

    Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Fill bowls evenly with mozzarella and tomatoes. Drizzle with oil and season with oregano and garlic powder.

    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts and tortilla bowl is golden and crisp. (For a make-ahead packed lunch, bake the night before and refrigerate.)

    Serve with carrot and celery sticks.
