Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (510 g) Pillsbury* Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 2 pkg (each 250 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Drop 6 spoonfuls of cookie dough (about 1 tbsp/15 mL each) onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until golden. Cool. Crumble coarsely. Set aside.

    Press remaining cookie dough evenly into a greased 8 or 9-inch (20 or 23 cm) square pan. Bake 12 minutes.

    Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until blended. Gently stir in crumbled cookies.

    Pour over prepared base. Bake 18-22 minutes, or until almost set but still jiggly. Cool at room temperature.

Expert Tips

  • Tip 1
    Tip: Cream cheese can be softened in the microwave. Remove cream cheese from its foil package and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave 250 g cream cheese on Medium for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until it has softened.
