Orange Ginger Beef

Surprise and delight the whole family by turning Hamburger Helper into a zesty Asian-inspired meal!

Ingredients
- 1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
- 1 pkg Hamburger Helper* Salisbury
- 2 1/4 cups (300 mL) water
- 1 cup (250 mL) orange juice
- 1 tsp (5 mL) grated orange rind
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce
- 1 1/2 - 2 tsp (7-10 mL) ground ginger
- 1 orange, peeled and cubed
Steps

In large nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.

Stir in sauce mix, noodles, water, orange juice, grated orange rind, soy sauce and ginger. Heat to boiling.

Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Gently stir in orange cubes and heat through.

Remove from heat, uncover and let stand 5 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.
