Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 g) pork tenderloin, cut into 1 1/2-inch/3.75 cm cubes
  • 8 fresh small mushrooms
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch/2.5 cm pieces
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, cut in 1-inch/2.5 cm pieces
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) barbecue sauce
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) hoisin sauce

    Heat grill. Alternately thread pork, mushrooms and bell peppers on four 10 to 12-inch metal skewers. In small bowl, combine barbecue sauce and hoisin sauce; mix well.

    When ready to grill, place kabobs on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Brush kabobs with sauce. Cook 11 to 13 minutes or until pork is no longer pink in centre, turning frequently and brushing with sauce. Discard any remaining sauce.
