Turkey Cranberry Pinwheels

Classic turkey and cranberries come together in this crescent pinwheel recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 rolls) Pillsbury* Refrigerated Crescents
  • 4 tbsp (60 mL) cranberry chutney or whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 4 slices thinly sliced turkey breast (deli meat style)
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) shredded Monterey Jack cheese

    STEP 1 - Heat oven to 375ºF. Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray. Unroll dough; press into 12x8-inch rectangle, firmly pressing perforations to seal.

    STEP 2 - Spread cranberry chutney on top of rectangle, within 1/4 inch of edges. Arrange sliced turkey evenly over cranberry chutney. Sprinkle shredded cheese over sliced turkey. Starting with longest side, roll up; pinch long side to seal. With serrated knife, cut into 24 slices. Place cut side down on cookie sheet.

    STEP 3 - Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets. Serve warm.

    Variation: Invite some spice to the party when you substitute pepper Jack cheese for the Monterey Jack.
