Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (496 g) Betty Crocker* Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) water
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) crisp rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) flaked coconut

Steps

    Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). In large bowl, stir all ingredients until soft dough forms.

    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches (5 cm) apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

    Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely.

    Tip: Toss 1/2 cup peanut butter chips, chocolate chips or a combo of both into the dough for extra flavour.
