Ingredients

  • 4 cups (1 L) Fibre 1* Raisin Bran Clusters* Cereal
  • 2 cups (500 mL) small pretzel twists
  • 1 cup (250 mL) roasted salted hulled pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1 cup (250 mL) chopped dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) miniature candy-coated semisweet chocolate baking bits

    Mix ingredients in large bowl or gallon-size resealable food-storage plastic bag.

    Did You Know? Pumpkin seeds, called pepitas, are popular in Mexican cooking. With their white hulls removed, pepitas are a medium-green color. They are delicious roasted and salted, as in this recipe. Try sprinkling them on salads for a new nutty crunch. Pepitas are sold unhulled, hulled, raw, or roasted and salted. Look for them in supermarkets near the nuts as well as in health-food stores and Mexican markets.
