Ingredients

  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate baking chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, maple flavour and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in baking chips and walnuts.

    Using small cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

    Bake 13 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from baking sheets to wire rack. Cool completely. Store covered at room temperature.

    Substitution Semisweet, dark or milk chocolate chips can be used for the white chocolate chips.

    Success Using a cookie scoop makes quick work of dropping the cookie dough. It also ensures cookies will be the same size and will bake the same length of time.
