Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of soft butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cups of raisins
  • 1 pack of Pillsbury croissant dough
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar

Steps

  •
    1
    Turn your oven to 375°F.
  •
    2
Flour your worktop and open the croissant dough. Roll out your dough, taking care to close over any pre-cut holes in the dough.
  •
    3
In a bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
  •
    4
Spread the mixture uniformly on the dough.
  •
    5
Roll up the dough into the shape of a roll.
  •
    6
Cut the dough into 8 pieces.
  •
    7
Set the pieces into a pie dish that has been pre-greased or sprayed with a cooking spray.
  •
    8
Bake in the center of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the dough is a nice golden color.
  •
    9
In the meantime, melt the butter for the frosting.
  •
    10
Once melted, remove from the heat and add it to all the other ingredients, mixing well so that all the lumps disappear.
  •
    11
Pour the frosting onto the buns before serving.
  •
    12
If you are making this dessert in advance, keep it in the refrigerator and re-heat it through before serving.
