Ingredients

  • One box of Chocolate Chex cereal
  • 225 grams milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate
  • 5 sugar cones
  • Mini colored chocolate pieces (such as M&M’s) or round candies to decorate the trees
  • Powdered sugar

Steps

  •
    1
Melt the chocolate and put it in a pastry bag with a small round tip or cut a small hole in the tip of plastic bag.
  •
    2
Put a row of chocolate on each cone, starting from the bottom. Then press Chex into chocolate around the cone. You can put trees in the fridge so the chocolate hardens faster.
  •
    3
What until the first row has hardened, then follow the same steps for each new row until you reach the top.
  •
    4
Put a few drops of chocolate on the back of the candies and attach them to the trees.
  •
    5
Do one side at a time and let chocolate harden before decorating the other side. To speed things up, put trees in the fridge.
  •
    6
Cut a Chex in half and insert it on top of the cone to finish the tree.
  •
    7
Sprinkle your trees with powdered sugar to simulate snow.
