Bake these beautiful and delicious Christmas cookies to impress your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Pillsbury* Refrigerated Sugar Cookies
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) all-purpose flour
  • Decorator icing, any colour (sold in tubes in baking aisle)
  • Snowflake or star candy decors, if desired
  • Edible glitter, if desired

    In large bowl, break up cookie dough.  Stir or knead in flour until well blended.

    Heat oven to 350°F. Divide dough in half. Roll half of dough at a time on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into 2-inch squares. Place on cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.

    Bake 7 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.  Let cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to wire rack.  Cool completely, about 15 minutes.

    Decorate tops of each package with icings to form ribbon and bow; arrange with candies and sprinkle with glitter.
