Dress up fudgy brownies with frosting and a simple cut-up marshmallow garnish.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker* Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • Coloured miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tub Betty Crocker* Creamy Deluxe* Vanilla Frosting

    Heat oven to 350ºF. Make and bake brownies as directed on box for 9-inch square pan, using water, oil and eggs. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

    For brownies, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.

    To make marshmallow flower garnish, cut 4 to 5 slits halfway through each marshmallow with scissors; open slits to form flower. Attach 1 flower to top of each brownie with small amount of frosting. From green marshmallows, cut small pieces for leaves; attach around flowers with frosting.

    Variation: Mini Flower Brownie Cups: Bake brownies in 28 paper-lined miniature muffin cups for 18 to 21 minutes. Cool completely. Frost brownie cups with green frosting. Make marshmallow flowers and leaves as directed in recipe. Place flowers on toothpicks that have been broken in half. Arrange flowers and leaves on top of each brownie cup.
