This green smoothie takes advantage of all the stuff you probably already have around to make a delicious, creamy pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) almond milk
  • 3 cups (750 mL) packed baby spinach
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) honey
  • 1 banana, chopped, frozen
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) ice cubes

Steps

    In blender, place all ingredients. Cover; blend on high speed until smooth.

    Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.
