Ingredients

  • 1 jug Bisquick* Shake 'n Pour* Pancake Mix
  • 2-3 large cooking apples
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) raisins
  • Vegetable oil

Steps

    Peel, quarter and core and then chop the apples.

    Melt the butter in a large frying pan, add the apples and fry gently for 5 minutes to soften. Add the sugar and cook for 1 minute then stir in the lemon juice and raisins; add 3 tbsp water, then cook until the apples are completely tender; keep warm while making the pancakes.

    Make the batter for the pancakes as directed on the package and cook.

    Top with the apple mixture and serve with ice-cream.
