Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 can Old El Paso* Refried Beans
  • 1 cup (250 mL) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Old El Paso* Thick N' Chunky Salsa
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sour cream
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups (500 mL) shredded lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 5 cups (1.25 L) tortilla chips

    Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.

    Add refried beans, tomato sauce and salsa; mix well. Cook and stir 4 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated and bubbly.

    In small bowl, combine sour cream and cheese; mix well. Spoon over beef mixture. Cover; cook over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Remove from heat. Top with lettuce and tomatoes. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
