Easy Mixed-Berry Crumble Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Bisquick* mix
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped nuts
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) cold butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) fresh or frozen mixed berries
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Bisquick* mix
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs

    Heat oven to 325ºF. Spray 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. In small bowl, sitr together 1/2 cup Bisquick mix, brown sugar and nuts. Cut in 2 tablespoons cold butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through mixture in opposite directions), until crumbly; set aside.

    In medium bowl, mix frozen berries, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread in pie plate.

    In another medium bowl, stir remaining pie ingredients with wire whisk or fork until blended. Pour into pie plate. Sprinkle with streusel.

    Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until top is evenly deep golden brown.

  • Tip 1
    How-To: Double up the goodness when you double all the ingredients. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In step 3, stir Bisquick mixture in large bowl. Bake 55 to 65 minutes.
