Four Cheese Crescent Quiche Appetizers

Make bite-size quiche starters that deliver big taste! Serve them for a brunch buffet or as a dinner appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (each 235 g) Pillsbury* Crescents
  • 1 cup (250 mL) each shredded Swiss, Cheddar and mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) each chopped red and green pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter or oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) sour cream
  • 1/2tsp (2 mL) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

    Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Grease 15x10-inch (40x25 cm) jellyroll pan.

    Unroll dough into 8 long rectangles. Place rectangles lengthwise in prepared pan; press over bottom 3/4-inch (2 cm) up sides to form crust. Seal perforations.

    Combine Swiss, Cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle evenly over dough.

    Cook onion, red and green pepper in butter or oil for 5 minutes or until tender. Spread evenly over cheese layer.

    Combine eggs, sour cream, salt and pepper until well blended. Drizzle evenly over cheese and vegetable layers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting to serve. Cut into 24 squares or 48 smaller rectangles to serve as appetizers.
