Bake these crispy potato wedges with a blend of spices - a great side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 tsp (3 mL) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) paprika
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) garlic powder, if desired
  • 3 large baking potatoes
  • Cooking spray

    Heat the oven to 425ºF. In small bowl or measuring cup, mix salt, sugar, paprika, mustard and garlic powder.

    Cut each potato in half lengthwise. Turn potatoes cut sides down, and cut each half lengthwise into 4 wedges. In 13x9-inch pan, arrange potato wedges with skin sides down.

    Spray potato wedges with cooking spray (without flour) until lightly coated. Sprinkle with salt mixture.

    Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork. Baking time will vary depending on size and type of potatoes used.
