What is the shelf life of your products?

For optimum quality and performance, we recommend consumers use our products within the recommended shelf life. To make this easier, General Mills recently began stamping all of our products with a “Better if Used by Date” code. Older packages are stamped with a manufacturing date code. If you need help reading the code stamped on a General Mills product, please E-mail us using the Feedback form on this website, or call the toll-free number on the product package.

Can I use your product after the “Better if Used By” date stamped on the package?

For optimum quality and performance, we recommend consumers use our products on or before the Better if used by Date. Product past this date should be disposed of, not because it is dangerous, but because it may not be up to our quality and performance standards. If you need help reading the code stamped on a product package, please E-mail us using the Feedback form on this website, or call the toll-free number on the product package.
