Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (65 g) pre-cooked bacon (14 slices)
  • 2 pkgs (8 oz/250 g each) dried whole Calimyrna figs, stems removed
  • 28 pistachio nuts
  • 28 small fresh basil leaves

Steps

    Heat oven to 425ºF. Spray large baking sheet (with sides) with cooking spray. Cut each bacon slice in half.

    Cut slit in each fig; stuff with nut. Place basil leaf on bacon strip; wrap around fig. Place seam side down in pan.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon is brown. Serve warm with toothpicks.
