Ingredients:
2 cups (500 mL) packed brown sugar
1/2 cup (125 mL) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup (125 mL) canola or vegetable oil
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups (500 mL) whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1 tsp (5 mL) baking powder
1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
2 cups (500 mL) Fibre 1* Honey Clusters* Cereal
1/4 cup (50 mL) semisweet chocolate chips
Oats to You : Oats are loaded with fiber--the soluble kind that helps to lower blood cholesterol. Start slowly so you have time to get used to more fiber!Variation : For about 8 1/2 dozen small cookies, drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 11 to 14 minutes.
