Turkey Waldorf Pizza

The Classic Waldorf flavours of apples and nuts are baked in a gooey, gourmet-style pizza.


1 can Pillsbury* refrigerated Pizza Crust

1 cup (250 mL) chopped cooked turkey or chicken
1 cup (250 mL) chopped apple
1/2 cup (125 mL) sliced almonds, toasted
1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
1 tsp (5 mL) dried tarragon leaves
1/8 tsp (.5 mL) salt
1/8 tsp (.5 mL) pepper
2 cups (500 mL) shredded Swiss Cheese
2 tsp (10 mL) chopped green onions


  • Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly spray 12-inch (30 cm) pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray. Unroll dough; place in sprayed pan. Starting at centre, press out dough with hands to edge of pan. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until crust begins to brown.
  • Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine turkey, apple, almonds, mayonnaise, tarragon, salt and pepper; mix well.
  • Remove partially baked crust from oven. Spread turkey mixture evenly over crust. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Return to oven; bake an additional 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is deep golden brown. Sprinkle with green onions. Cut into 12 wedges.
