Fajita Salad Wraps

You've got a fresh and tasty meal all wrapped up with this recipe!


1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
1 lb (500 g) skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 pkg Old El Paso* Smart Fiesta* Reduced Sodium Fajita Seasoning Mix
1/4 cup (50 mL) water
1 1/4 cups (300 mL) diced peppers (any colour)

1 pkg Old El Paso* Smart Fiesta* made with Whole Grain Tortillas

Your favourite salad ingredients (lettuce, diced tomatoes, etc.)
Shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese (optional)


  • Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes until no longer pink inside.
  • Stir in diced peppers, seasoning mix and water. Simmer uncovered 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Warm tortillas according to package directions.
  • On each tortilla place chicken and pepper mixture and a combination of any of your favourite salad ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired. Fold up and enjoy.
