1/4 tsp (1 mL) thyme
4 cups (1 L) reduced sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup (50 mL) flour
2 cups (500 mL) evaporated 2% milk
3/4 lb (375 g) frozen uncooked medium shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails removed (do not thaw)
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) pepper
