Ingredients:
1 pkg (510 g) Betty Crocker* SuperMoist White Cake Mix
water, vegetable oil, egg whites, called for on cake mix box
1 tub (450 g) Betty Crocker* Creamy Deluxe White Frosting or (340 g) Whipped White Frosting
1/2 cup (125 mL) flaked coconut
Orange Coconut Filling:
1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
2 tsp (10 mL) cornstarch
1/3 cup (75 mL) water
1 tsp (5 mL) grated orange peel
2 tsp (10 mL) orange juice
2 tbsp (25 mL) flaked coconut
Tip:If you love the warm, nutty flavor of toasted coconut, you can toast it before sprinkling on top. To toast coconut, sprinkle it in an ungreased heavy skillet and cook over medium-low heat 6 to 14 minutes, stirring frequently until browning begins, then stirring constantly until golden brown.
