Was your invitation to the
Royal Wedding lost in the mail? Yeah, so was Georgia's!
Having four kids from twenty-one through five has it's challenges. What works for my older children isn't always appropriate for my youngest Georgia. While my two older girls and I stayed up (or got up) to watch the
Royal Wedding early tomorrow morning. Georgia was snuggled in her bed. Something she's not all that thrilled about.
We made the mistake of calling our middle of the night wedding watching a 'party'. It's not, it was three very tired people in their pajamas watching a wedding. Of course she wanted a wedding party too!
A promise of a special party for her and her stuffed puppies, was enough to cheer her up! On the menu -->
Royal Wedding Party Cupcakes and pink lemonade.
Using a
Betty Crocker cake mix and frosting keeps the preparation quick and easy. The white chocolate curls on top, add a little something and are simple to create using a vegetable peeler.
Tip --> warm up the chocolate for several seconds with a blow dryer before attempting to create the curls.
To make the party special Georgia set the table with some fancy tea cups and some old doilies. Invited her favourite stuffed toys.
She enjoyed every single moment and several cupcakes!
Enjoy!
